It's officially winter now, and that means time to dig out my Robin of Sherwood DVDs. It's becoming something of a mini-tradition now, mainly because the liberal use of colour filters, smoke machines and soft-focuses lenses give the series an atmospheric woozy, dreamlike quality that goes well with autumn/winter.
